Job description
GENERAL DUTIES
- Support the Housekeeping management in managing daily operations, including task delegation, supervision, and ensuring all areas are cleaned and maintained to UHNW standards.
- Lead team meetings, assign duties, and oversee the completion of housekeeping tasks with a focus on efficiency, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Conduct regular inspections, uphold health and safety protocols, and ensure correct usage of color-coded equipment and cleaning materials.
- Manage guest laundry logistics, including transport, damage checks, logging discrepancies, and coordinating with butlers for acknowledgment.
- Train and onboard new staff, support ongoing team development, and ensure all members follow established procedures.
- Maintain and monitor housekeeping inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
- Prepare and submit daily reports, participate in briefings, and act as Team Leader in the absence of the Senior Housekeeper.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a luxury or high-standard private household or hospitality environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining exceptional service standards for UHNW principals or guests.
- Experience with inventory oversight and handling last-minute requests with discretion and flexibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and a high level of confidentiality.
- Willingness to train others, and adapt to changing needs and schedules.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility to work overtime during special occasions.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
