Job description
GENERAL DUTIES
- Lead the HSE team and oversee the implementation of site-wide safety procedures in line with estate policies and international standards.
- Develop, update, and maintain the QHSE Manual, ensuring compliance with Fire Life Safety (FLS) regulations and internal protocols.
- Plan and deliver staff training, fire drills, and safety briefings to ensure awareness and readiness across all departments.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions across the estate.
- Review technical specifications, contractor scopes, and material selections to ensure safety and quality compliance during renovations or construction.
- Liaise with contractors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to align safety practices and monitor QHSE performance.
- Report regularly to senior management on safety metrics, incidents, and improvements, contributing to strategic decision-making.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2–3 years in a similar QHSE management role, ideally within high-standard hospitality, luxury estates, or similar environments.
- Proven track record in leading safety teams and implementing QHSE systems.
- Experience liaising with contractors, technical teams, and regulatory authorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety).
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (mandatory); additional certifications (e.g. IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FLS, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
