Job description

GENERAL DUTIES
  • Assist the QHSE Manager in maintaining and enforcing the estate’s QHSE policies and procedures.
  • Monitor daily safety practices, conduct routine inspections, and ensure compliance with Fire Life Safety (FLS) standards.
  • Support the planning and delivery of staff training sessions, safety briefings, and fire drills.
  • Conduct risk assessments and report hazards, recommending corrective actions to the QHSE Manager.
  • Assist with quality audits, snag lists, and contractor compliance reviews.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, and reports for internal and external use.
  • Liaise with staff, contractors, and service providers to promote adherence to QHSE requirements.
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 1–2 years in a QHSE or HSE role, preferably within hospitality, luxury estates, or facilities management.
  • Experience with safety inspections, reporting, and assisting in audits.
  • Familiarity with Fire Life Safety (FLS) and occupational health procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).
  • Additional safety or ISO-related certifications an advantage.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
